In the areas of Air Resource Management K&A offers expert assistance in securing and renewing air construction and operating permits; tracking permitting requirements, including compliance testing and enforcement issues; performing dispersion modeling analyses; and preparing annual and test reports.

Permitting activities may include development of site and process information, evaluation of control technologies (BACT, LAER, BART, MACT, and RACT), and assessment of the impact of pollutant emissions on air quality. In other areas, K&A works closely with regulated industries and local, state and federal regulatory agencies to rapidly secure environmental permits that provide maximum operational flexibility.
