Experience

 

Mr. Paul has been associated with Koogler and Associates, Inc. and predecessor firms of Koogler and Associates, Inc. for over 35 years.  The clients Mr. Paul have served are primarily from the industrial sector and are located throughout the United States.  Typical work experience includes:

 

            •           Testing power plants, industrial boilers, resource recovery facilities, industrial furnaces burning hazardous waste-derived fuels, bagasse and wood-waste boilers, municipal and pathological incinerators, Portland cement plants, phosphate fertilizer plants, Kraft pulp mills, sulfuric acid plants, nitric acid plants, chromic acid plants, dryers (used for drying sand, crushed stone, phosphate rock and clay), asphalt plants, food-processing plants and other miscellaneous emission sources.  Emission measurements have been for the purpose of determining compliance, for evaluating process modifications and for evaluating air pollution control systems

 

            •           Air pollutant emission measurements, including EPA Test Methods 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5A-D, 6, 6A, 6C, 7, 7E, 8, 9, 10, 13A, 13B, 17 , 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, 25A, 26 and 29 (40 CFR 60, Appendix A); EPA Methods 101 and 108 (40 CFR 61, Appendix B); EPA Methods 0010 and 0030 (SW846); in-situ methods for particle size determination; and various NIOSH test methods for measuring air pollutants in the industrial workplace

 

            •           Certification of CEMs in accordance with Performance Specifications 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 (40 CFR 60, Appendix B)
