Experience
Mr. Raval joined Koogler & Associates, Inc. in April 1990 as a Project Engineer. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for five years as an Engineer with the Bureau of Air Regulation, Florida Department of Environmental Regulation in Tallahassee, Florida where he served as review engineer for power plant siting projects. In addition, Mr. Raval spent one year as a Process Engineer for a chemical company in Bombay, India. Typical work experience includes:
· Review of major stationary source construction permit applications to determine technical accuracy and to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
· Processing of major new and modified source PSD/Nonattainment construction permit applications and power plant applications.
· Coordination with Air Modeling Sections and BACT/LAER staff in the review and determination of permit requirements.
· Preparation of project reports and other permit documents for Department approval.
· Liaison with permit applicants/professional engineers/legal consultants to resolve permit issues in state and federal requirements.
· Compliance planning, monitoring and assistance on enforcement issues.
· Coordination of equipment design, fabrication, installation and startup of production expansion of aluminum chloride manufacture.
